I honestly think that this is good advice. Most people will listen to you if you speak honestly and openly unless they are deaf or hard of hearing because then unless you YELL the hard of hearing can't hear you to listen to you. In speaking with a deaf person you have to speak openly so that they can see your lips if they are lip readers or you have to learn sign language and then sign honestly and openly.
